Leisure Travel Specialist

Hello, I have been in the travel industry for 45 years.  The last 22 years has been with Astro Travel.  I began my career in 1979 where we hand wrote airline tickets! I have been here for the 2002 World Trade Center bombing helping clients return home when all flights were grounded.  Also during the Iceland volcanic eruption in 2010 , causing airlines to stop flying. Again finding flights home for clients was first priority.

As a leisure agent I want to get to know my clients. Their  likes, dislikes, interests, price points and expectations. Many of the trips  created  are customized to the clients wishes. Building a relationship with my client is very important.  I also do trips with tour companies that have established itineraries and specific dates and places. This would be tours such as Trafalgar, Tauck and Collette to name a few.

I love to cruise, finding it not only a great way to see the world, but enjoy foods I would not normally eat at home. Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Oceania, Ama Waterways  are several that clients have had great  experiences on.

Using Apple Vacations or Funjet Vacations I can have you  experience the Caribbean or Mexico.  Maybe island hoping in Hawaii sounds good.  Either doing this by cruising or on your own by air and car.
